Dreamcatchers nowadays are used as a delightful decoration in our world. They also have a purpose, to protect sleepers, especially children, from bad dreams, nightmares and some believe evil spirits too. They decend from Native Americans, who believed that at night the air was filled with dreams, both good and bad. They would hang the dreamcatcher over their beds to best harness the protective attributes of a dreamcatcher while sleeping.
 
This dreamcathcer is approx 20cm in lenght, it hangs nicely with a mix of miniature tumbled stones and real feathers along it.
